The main purpose of the project is optimization of company business processes. The hardware and software solution allows tracking down all trucks and municipal vehicles, to make reports and analysis of the routes and to prevent illegal use of the vehicle by the driver and wasting of fuel and time. Also the company is going to make the most effective vehicles routes, which allows decreasing gross expenditure of the company.

The IT department of the company has tested a lot of solutions provided by different companies, and the most effective software was offered by the company “Robosoft”. Yuri Voloshko, the CTO of the Municipal Automotor Company said: “We completely realized that our company needs to optimize its expenditures and to improve the effectiveness of using the trucks. This is possible by using the system, which allows keeping an eye on every vehicle of the company. This system ought to be convenient to use, has the minimal hardware requirements and high reliability. The software should have flexible configuration design and extendable report system also. Having tested a lot of different solutions, we decided that “NAVIS” developed by Dniepropetrovsk Company “Robosoft” satisfies all our requirements to this software.
The program “NAVIS” also supports a lot of different hardware tracking devices and loggers, which was very important factor that our company has taken into account.”

As the members of the Kremenchug Municipal Department reported, the solution provided by the Municipal Automotor Company has saved a lot of money from the city budget already. Having such positive result of implementing the vehicle tracking system, the Municipal Department plans to provide the tracking system to all municipal passenger transport.
